King Boo is the king of the boos, a species of ghosts. He has fought both Mario and Luigi. Starting from Luigi's Mansion, he's appeared in many games and spinoffs. He's mean, scary, and a bit sarcastic. He also tends to talk about how awful the Mario bros. are.

King Boo has many different looks. In Luigi's Mansion, he wears a large crown with a giant red jewel on the top. He's bigger than normal boos and has red eyes. He has a blue tongue. In the spin-off games, he has a gold crown with two blue jewels and one red jewel. He has black eyes and has a pink tongue.
